As above!
From my late 50s onwards my blonde hair began to go gray, then silver and white. I have a pixie cut and it looked really good when I used Fudge purple shampoo to give a slight lilac tint.
I love it like this. 💖

However, I was quite poorly with Covid and then had Long Covid which affected my hair, skin and nails. Lots of my hair fell out and it was so lifeless and the purple shampoo began to turn the front of my hair green!!
I had to stop using Fudge Shampoo. I. take hair gummies and collagen and my hair and nails are so much better.

Now, my hair is lovely when I wash it, really white and full but by day 2 the front is yellow again!! It the most garish colour and looks awful. 😞

I know I could wash it every day but I have chronic pain and would love to find another solution.

Any ideas welcome!

You could try using a purple or blue toner (it depends if the brassiness is yellow (use purple) or orange (use blue). Toner should neutralise the colour back to ashy grey/silver. I quite like Shrine drops (semi permanent).

I swear by Shrine White Blonde toner drops to get rid of yellow tones in my bleached/grey hair.

Heat protection and sun protection are essential for white hair . Use both .

Thank you all.
As I said in OP I loved a purple shampoo but after covid it turned the front of my hair green!

I had a Quick Look at Shone, I will investigate further.

Do you smoke or spend time around smokers? My dm's hair lost it's yellowing after she quit smoking and went pure white.

Or could it be the oil from your skin causing a yellowy hue?

Toner isn’t like purple shampoo (that doesn’t do much for me either). It’s more like a semi permanent hair dye.

Apply a styling product with UV protection.
