I know Im late to the party but just discovered this....its going to be seriously bad for my bank balance!
Just bought a Joanie blouse and cardigan I've had my eye on. Also a Joe Brown jacket and a Popsy dress I really wanted.
Maybe it's my lower working class background but I always loved getting second hand clothes as a kid, clearly I'm no different now!😆

I don't think it's a class thing. It's just a good idea really

Love it 😻

I'm a huge fan .. also if you favourite something the seller might send you an offer to buy for a slightly reduced price. And don't be worried about making offers .. I do .. not silly but just a few pounds down. I've got some beautiful clothes from there and almost exclusively buy from there and charity shops as really hate fast fashion

Welcome to your new obsession! My best bargain so far has been a slouchy blue leather SeeByChloe bag for FIFTEEN POUNDS.

RRP £400.

Not sure I'll ever top it to be honest. Grin

That's amazing! I've been tempted to buy designer items like Anya Hindmarch but how do you know they're the real deal?

I love Vinted 😂
Your bank balance won't thank you but you can always start selling things too!

dudsville · 26/06/2024 08:26

I have to be careful with vinted because I've managed to curb my browsing style of shopping and I want to maintain that. So I'll nip in to search for the thing that I missed in a specific shop than find myself looking at what else is there!

henlake7 · 26/06/2024 09:14

I feel like its going to be handy because I hate faffing about with complicated returns so it will give me a chance to try brands on the cheap ,for example I know I fit into a Joanie size 12 but Im wondering if a 10 would also fit. Luckily someone was selling a blouse for £2! (id def wear it if it fits but no loss if it doesnt!).

Normallynumb · 26/06/2024 14:29

I love Vinted!
I have had some amazing bargains lately
A replacement much loved leather jacket for £20 looks unworn originally £120
BNWT Ecco winter boots £15
Worn but just need a good polish Ecco boots £12
Cream Camper trainers( unworn) for £15
Originally £140
Every day I'm wearing something bought from there!

Dozycuntlaters · 26/06/2024 14:32

How are you finding these gems? I have just signed up for it as I wanted some vintage books, so had a quick look at the clothes and the ones I saw were really quite expensive. A case of scrolling through for the bargains?

LadyDanburysHat · 26/06/2024 14:33

I do love that you can search for something very specific that you want and will inevitably find it. The search function is so much better than Ebay which just adds a load of filler nonsense that is not what you asked for.

trying29 · 26/06/2024 14:34

very dangerous! I got a brand new j crew sequin skirt still with net-a-porter tags on it for £13.
