It's almost de rigeur on here to hate Radley. I like Radley pocket and crossover bags. They're well made, keep everything secure and last forever. In the interests of full disclosure I love clothes but have very little interest in bags.

That bag is as cute as a button. And potentially quite useful if you need a secure, cross body bag for just a phone and cars.

UngratefulOldCabbage · 25/06/2024 22:23

I like it. But then I love both a small bag and radley bags! Tempted now as well!

scrapsontheside · 25/06/2024 22:25

It's not my taste , it looks inexpensive and quite young, but dated at the same time.
Sorry you did ask

PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich · 25/06/2024 22:28

It looks like it's from the Disney Store.

PragmaticDramatic · 26/06/2024 05:08

I think it’s quirky and would dress up everyday outfits to make them feel a bit more special. I could see it with jeans and a nice top.

Snooglequack · 26/06/2024 05:15

I love Radley, their bags just always seem to get it right when it comes to pockets. This one isn't my fav but if you like it go for it.

Magpiecomplex · 26/06/2024 06:53

Mixed opinions then! I can see exactly what @PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich means about the Disney store though, although I think that's part of why I like it, as @PragmaticDramatic says, it's quirky!

It's like a nicer loungefly bag. But I do love loungefly!

ThatAgileGoldMoose · 26/06/2024 06:56

It's cute! And if it's marmite that would just make me love it even more. Maybe get a ruler and draw out a pattern of it's shape and size, and see if you can fit your purse, phone and keys in it?

BrokenButNotFinished · 26/06/2024 08:03

The phone, for me, is always the dealbreaker. I love a quirky handbag and have quite a number. This isn’t my style, but it’s a good price for a leather bag, particularly with a name attached (fwiw I coveted a Deadpool bag a while ago, but it was more expensive than this and not leather - so I didn’t think it would wear very well).

My only concern with this might be how well the foiling will bear up, but you can’t know until you’ve tried.

dudsville · 26/06/2024 08:28

That's a very cute bag!

EverythingYouDoIsaBalloon · 26/06/2024 09:09

I love Radley. It's cute, I say go for it!

bridgetreilly · 26/06/2024 11:15

If you love it and can fit keys, phone, card/cash in it, then go for it!

QuillBill · 26/06/2024 12:55

It looks quite big when she's holding it in the second picture.

MuscariFan · 26/06/2024 13:02

I suspect the irritation of trying to fit anything in this would soon overcome the cuteness factor.

guineverehadgreeneyes · 26/06/2024 13:12

I don't like chain handles, but otherwise, yes, it looks cute. But two things would bother me - the zips look as though they potentially open almost to the base of the bag and I'd be worried that small things like keys might easily fall out and that the bag would not have much stability if placed on a flat surface Secondly, I'd be worried about the gold embellished decoration wearing off quickly if the bag is used often.

CoffeeCantata · 26/06/2024 14:47

OP, I don't know what your height etc is, but I'm a tallish size 12/14 and I've learned the hard way that I look a right tit with a small, delicate bag - same with delicate jewellery. Obviously it's your choice - but I'm just mentioning this because when I see taller, more statuesque women with diddy little handbags I just don't think it looks right (evening dos excepted, of course) proportionally.

Just my two-penn'orth.

Lorrymum · 26/06/2024 15:01

I think it's very cute. I love Radley.
You have inspired me to take a lookout the sale and I have just ordered pretty handbag umbrella for £15 down from £30.
Buy the bag!

EllyGi · 26/06/2024 16:09

Nope. For such small bag to have 2 zips is a faff. Won't be comfortable to wear or place anywhere because of the sharp shape.

Katherineryan1986 · 26/06/2024 17:42

I love Radley bags and have a few, however, that to me looks like a little chocolate box. I really don’t like it.

I have to carry epi-pens so it would be too small for me anyway

MidnightMeltdown · 26/06/2024 17:48

PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich · 25/06/2024 22:28

It looks like it's from the Disney Store.

This. I think that it would look mega tacky on an adult

Magpiecomplex · 26/06/2024 17:50

Thanks everyone, I have bought it!

Points taken about the foiling and the size (I'm 5'7" but wouldn't use it as an everyday bag), and the epi-pens (asthma inhalers in my case) so fingers crossed I won't regret it.

OP posts:
Bunnyannesummers · 26/06/2024 22:17

It’s gorgeous and glad you bought it!
the zips don’t last long on heart shaped bags is the only thing (still in mourning for my heart shaped Vivienne Westwood)

Tomnooktoldmeto · 27/06/2024 12:52

its quite cute but I’m a bit too old for it these days. I have a Christmas Radley bag with foiling and it’s still as good as new 6 years on

I also carry Epi pens and inhaler and I’ve found that the small ones aimed at mobile phones perfectly fit 2 epi pens, and inhaler and my card holder

DH just picked up a nice blue tones striped one for my birthday in the outlet sale for half price, they even had a matching card holder available too
