After some clothes advice please. Im a size 18, 5ft 4 and really struggling with fashion. Im not looking for anything out of the ordinary and Ive asked on here before and got good advice so thought I would ask again.
Im just looking for casual trousers to wear with white trainers and t-shirt style tops that arent clingy. Cant seem to find such basic clothes anywhere. Trousers are ways to long or not good quality and the tops always seem to be to clingy and short. Can anyone help me please lol 😂

Don’t know if that’s more than you intend to spend, but you’re getting excellent quality with the lowest possible mark ups. I gather they’re expanding their range of sizes so not all the trousers will come in an 18 but these do, in the navy too. (I have no connection to them!)

(Can you not get things taken up if they’re too long? Trousers should be relatively simple and cheap to alter at your local tailors.)

I am 5'6", size 18, square in shape. I find that a good shirt works better for me that t-shirts and I often wear with a vest top and partly opened shirt. I buy from Uniqlo, as I like their quality for the price and don't forget to look in the menswear section too, as often heavier fabric and I wear sleeve garters to deal with sleeve length. Today I am wearing a long line broderie anglais top, past hip length from Tu, but I have other shirts from Tu, Primark and my DH's wardrobe!! Trousers, I wear mens shorts as my waist width is the same as my hip width (always has been, so I work with it), so they work so much better for me. I have soft trousers from M&S, Uniqlo, Tu, H&M. Length, easy to turn up with the hem tape if you can't sew, so if cotton or a mix, no problem to change the length.

Tshirts: i swear by Rapanui relaxed fit. Pure, thickish cotton and not clingy around the middle or too short.. I just wish they did more colours. You could also try the other fits.
