Just wondering what other mumsnetters do to make them feel good on a daily basis.

Self care kind of thing.
After noticing my skin ageing suddenly now I'm mid forties and the mid weight gain not moving etc along with dark eye bags I've made a few changes and I feel so much better
Here's what I'm now doing.

What other things are you all adding to your routines etc that are making a world of difference to how you feel

Daily walk around 1.5 miles either early morning or early evening after work along the beach amongst the sea air-Bliss and great time to decompress and enjoy where we live

Drinking 2 ltrs of water a day is making a massive difference to my skin and helping with weight loss.

Eating a lot less carbs and much more veg/fruit is aiding weight loss and I've lost just over a stone so far
Can't believe how my joints already don't hurt

Using a rosemary oil underneath a really intense moisturiser every evening as well as an under eye cream and a vit c serum on my face and chest

A lash growth serum applied every night

Sanctuary spa door balm every morning and evening to keep my feet soft and dry skin at bay

Micro bladed and powder brows once and topped up every twelve months

Hair tape in extensions has transformed my fine limp hormonal hair and makes me feel good every day

Stepping back from being my parents and siblings instant go to for someone to moan at,or need at the drop of a hat.
Can't tell you how less restrictive it feels and less oppressive

Regular skincare routine, have done this for years. Spf every day without fail.

Twice weekly everything shower - exfoliate, shave, hair mask etc

Gradual tanner every other day.

2 litres of water a day, can't believe how much better this makes me feel.

Getting to bed early and getting up the same time each day.

Reading daily, took some practice to get my concentration back but I find it helpful for sleep and I can't think about other stuff while I'm.reading.

Nail treatment daily (cnd rescue rx) and hand cream a few times a day, cuticle oil as well.

Need to fit exercise in but trying to bed in each habit before adding another.

@NiceUnusualDifferent

Thank you for replying.

The hand cream and cuticle oil is another one a could add in definitely

My hands look old for my age due to my line of work

Yes the two litres of water a day is magic in how much better I feel
For it.

I bought myself a gel uv nail kit and a nail drill to do my own but I'm not that good at it and my nails currently look like a mess so maybe il go back to treating myself every now and then to nails.

I bought a hot cloth cleanser but I'm really crap at doing it. Instead I use baby wipes to take my make up off but I know I need to factor that in aswell.

I also allow myself to just sit with no excuse made as to why I'm sitting down and all my life I've had this thing whereby you just keep going and doing stuff.

The reading thing I need to get bak into.

I bought myself a new kindle a few months ago as my old one died and I have started to read a book but I struggle to get my concentration bak into it.

Will give that a ago again
