I used the Aussie shampoo/conditioner when mine was coloured.

It's trial and error I think. My hair is thick, course, coloured and highlighted. It's also quite dry so needs lots of oils. I like loreal dream waves or extraordinary oil. My favourite is Tigi bed head in the brown bottles. Smells like toffee too. I found it cheaper at Amazon, subscribe and save.
