What to wear in hot and humid weather

Looking for suggestions to survive a hot and humid summer holiday in SE Asia. Beach wear is a no as mostly will be in the city.

I'm size 16-18 so needs to be flattering and covering the tum. I want to look more stylish than wearing shorts and oversized t-shirt but need to be cool and comfy too.

Mostly here in the summer I wear wide leg culottes or midi skirt with a t-shirt tucked in.

Please give me any suggestions!

I usually wear short sleeve/sleeveless linen t shirts and wide leg cotton trousers. Loose cotton or linen dresses. The main thing for me is that clothes skim the body, so nothing clings to make the humidity more bearable. Silk/cotton mix is ideal in hot climates.

I'm the same size as you, and love maxi dresses. I have some lovely silk ones made from recycled sari material, strappy and reasonably fitted over the bust, but flare out with plenty of material underneath, can be worn with or without a t shirt underneath. But any maxi dress will do, made from light cotton or silk or viscose.

Dresses are my go to, much cooler thats shorts and shirt plus you can just chuck them on.
Have a look at H & M, you can filter by material so cotton, linen etc. But don't discount viscose as I don't find it super hot if it's a loose tunic style dress
