Help!! Mouldy uggs!!

I’ve made a huge mistake. After searching through several threads here on mumsnet, I decide to run my Ugg Tasman slippers though the wash. As others advised, I used wool detergent and a wool cycle. They looked fine when they came out but were ridiculously sopping wet.

Again as someone advised on here I stuffed them with newspaper and put them near the radiator that wasn’t too hot. They’ve been near the radiator in the hallway where the sun light shines through. This was about 3 days ago.

I’ve just gone to check them and want to cry because now there are mildew mould spots growing on the top. What do I do! Are they salvageable?

Was the radiator on? I’m assuming they meant use radiator heat to dry them. Did you change the newspaper every day? If not that would have stayed wet. I think the only thing you can do is wash them again really and hope the mildew spots don’t stain. Peg them on the line on a sunny day to mostly dry then stuff with paper and put on a radiator/ on top of the boiler/on a sunny windowsill.
