Anyone good with earrings particularly flat backs?

I have my lobes pierced 3 times. The third being done in March. It’s ok, just not fully healing but I am wondering if it’s because all 3 in each love are the usual butterfly backs and the way I am sleeping. I started to research flat back studs but all that comes up are those for the helix etc. does anyone know of any for the lobes, must be white gold. Thanks.

3 months for a piercing to heal is actually a relativelyshort time. My upper two lobe piercings took almost 6 months and I didn’t change the original earrings which were surgical steel in that time. Was the original piercing done with a flat back /screw front stud? Could you get the piercers to put it back in for you? Most of this type go from back to front and the front screws on which can be tricky to do yourself.

spray with prontolind will also speed the healing. You can also get a pillow specifically for this with a gap which relieves pressure on the ear!

you can also get hinged back earrings - I think they are called androlock earrings? I know in gold but not sure about white gold. Maybe worth looking for those?

Go to your local tattooist or piercing place, they will have lots of flat backed earrings in various metals.

My seconds are taking ages to heal, but I'm sure that's because I'm not using the original earrings I had when I had them done. Titanium, gold or silver earrings will help the healing too. I found the better quality earrings I had the less irritation I get.
