Do green colour correctors actually work?

I have some cystic acne and scarring to cover with quite pale skin. Does green neutraliser or corrector work? Any recommendations? Or for a heavy duty concealer. Thanks.

Have you watched the Lisa Eldridge video on covering acne? Lots of good advice on how to get good coverage without looking mask like.
I have a L'Oréal green corrector. It's OK but not amazing.

Ps. My favourite concealer is the Nars matte one in a pot. Amazing stuff.

Lisa Eldridge video

Thank you! I like Lisa Eldridge so I’ll take a look.

I’d not heard of Lily Lolo so off to explore that.

£25 feels a lot for a concealer but if it’s the holy grail then maybe…

I use the Dr Jaart one. It's very ££ but you can get a sample from Space NK

I use the eborian one in the green tube to help cover redness. It's more of a subtle coverage which is great if I'm just wearing a lightweight foundation on top. But if I'm wearing a heavier foundation then it's useless really.

A green primer has worked for me, I think I only used a cheap revolution one but it did the job!

Thanks everyone!

I use the Rosalique one and it's really good . Also spf 50.

muddyford · 23/06/2024 10:43

I've got the No7 one in a lipstick type of tube. Works really well.

Applepencilplant · 23/06/2024 10:44

Erborian. It costs ££££ but it’s so good and doesn’t aggravate my insanely sensitive skin.

Idontjetwashthefucker · 23/06/2024 14:45

I use Erborian CC creme too, don't need to wear anything over it as it provides good coverage on me

Another vote here for Dr Jaart. I've been using it since being diagnosed with rosacea and it is superb. I use it now instead of foundation because it looks so much better on.
