What style shorts are in?

Ok so I’ve finally got the memo to ditch the skinny jeans in favour of wide legged ones… but what about shorts? Are there any particular style which is in or out? Not that we’re having much of a summer to wear them.

I usually live in midi dresses in the summer but would like a couple of decent pairs of shorts, all mine are just old baggy denim ones, most of which are too big for me now.

Exactly same here I have about 5 old pairs of various colour denim shorts and fancy a change!

I think linen is the in thing but I find it very hard to style.

I bought a pair of Reiss denim shorts recently which are the best I’ve ever had with a flattering flare and am on the look out for something cargo style in either beige or black

Boxer/pyjama style is trending at the moment.

Or if you want something with more longevity I'd go for linen or tailored Bermuda style.
