Skincare advice!

I'm looking for a skincare routine, I have tried most the no7 range but they just don't seem to suit me. They make my face peel, not sure if it's products or my actual skin but they just don't work. I have no idea what else to try.

I have normal skin, with some rosacea on my cheeks. I get hormonal breakouts sometimes.

Looking for recommendations for products to try please!

I bought the Ordinary Aloe and NAG serum last Saturday - it was the one Boots had - and I've used it morning and night. My skin was very dry and flaky and is now so much better I used a Tula exfoliator a few nights ago too. Anyway, my rosacea is lot less red too.

Today I used a drop of Pai The Impossible Glow in my moisturiser and actually looked smooth and dewy! Thank you for the recommendation.

Oh, I am so pleased for you. That's fantastic news!

Incidentally, as you like clarins, let me just mention my favourite exfoliating mask thing - their Gentle Peeling Smoothing cream. I use it only c occasionally- usually the morning of a.big event or night out or if I feel jusy dull. It lifts my skin and revitalised instantly. Amazing.

Do you have any body moisturiser/product recommendations?

wonderwooman · 28/06/2024 23:48

I’m 48 and use Cerave hydrating cleanser
To moisturise…
in the morning I use Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid, Balance Me Vitamin C and Cerave Day SPF 50 moisturiser combined with Tan Luxe tanning drops
in the evening I use Cerave PM moisturiser

Cerave and la roche posay is good

GerbilsForever24 · 29/06/2024 16:05

@NigelHarmansNewWife Yes, like @UmberMoose says, the Cera Ve body moisterisers are fabulous and very reasonably priced. I haven't used the la roche possay much but they always get great reviews and I have liked the odd product I've troud over the years.

The Clarins body moisterisers are also good, but pricey and I'm not wild about the smell myself (if you do want something a bit poncier) but they feel really lovely going on.

I would try the clarins one as you say and will review here next time, thanks for the suggestion though
