Shirts do not suit me - is it possible?

I have two boyfriend style shirts that are perfect in every way - crisp, petite oversized, stepped hem, just great. And yet I do not feel a touch sassy, even with sleeves pushed up and a dainty necklace. I love them but why do they not work? Anyone else with similar “problems”, may be another item?

For me it's the collars. I did get somewhere once with a very soft linen open collar but anything with a formal or stiff collar looks ridiculous

I loved shirts when I was younger. Had loads of Ben Sherman ones(they did really nice women's ones back then) as I've got older and curvier, aka fat, shirts are a nightmare.

It wouldn't be so bad if they were fitted (as I could go up a size to accommodate the boobs) but they're just shapeless and hang off my boobs and make me look pregnant.

Posh vests?

White Stuff usually have cotton jersey shirts which sound like this - would they work?
