Anyone dye their own eyebrows? I'm starting to get the odd grey one which stands out as my eyebrows are very dark brown. Any suggestions for a home dye? I've had them done in a salon but it only lasts a short time.

Following. I need some before I go on holiday as the sun bleaches my brows and I end up looking like an egg.

I use the just for men beard tint! Comes with such a handy little set up so you only need to mix as much as you need and can use that to prevent wastage.

Works really well and fades very naturally! Definitely do a patch test though 😊 means you can top up whenever you want too, I tend to do it every few weeks.

Refectocil tint and their liquid oxidant! I've been using it no or years and trained in lash and brow tints and this is what I was trained to use

I use Godefroy. I had a reaction to one of the others when I did a patch test. Godefroy works for me and comes in good shades.

Second for Refectocil here. I'm not trained at all and seem to manage to dye my own brows without turning into Noel Gallagher.
Haven't been brave enough to try dyeing eyelashes with it though.
I'm similar to you OP, dark brows, the hairs looks black but I use the dark brown Refectocil which seems to turn out ok.

I use this as well. Its so easy. I work it in to my eyebrows with a cotton bud. I then have a shower and take dye off when i get out. No need to protect skin or time to the exact second. Dead easy and very cheap

I like the eylure one!

pepperaunt · 18/06/2024 21:12

I used to like Eyelure but am pretty sure they’ve changed their formula. It barely lasts now

Just for men hair dye in 35ml tube, no mixing. It's great, I leave on for about 10 mins every 10-14 days. So easy and cheap as get on Amazon for about £6

I also use Just for men beard dye but the hair dye sounds even easier if there is no mixing involved, I shall give it a try thank you.

Schwarzkopf works brilliantly for me. Accidentally bought Eyelure a while back and it's hopeless in comparison.

iknowimcoming · 18/06/2024 23:55

I use Julienne on my lashes and eyebrows about once a month, have done for years, and my eyes are very sensitive to make-up etc, very easy to use as it doesn't stain skin no matter how clumsy I am!

DoingJustFine · 19/06/2024 00:00

I use the Just For Men too. I apply it by squeezing a bit into the cap, then slapping it into my eyebrows using an old toothbrush.

Goddessonahighway · 19/06/2024 17:18

Thanks all. Much appreciate. Good to know that it's easy to do and I wouldn't be silly to give it a go myself 👍

Just do a very small amount of time first to gauge how much you need

Goddessonahighway · 08/07/2024 15:23

I tried it for the first time today after doing a patch test yesterday. Used Henna Pro colours by Revers in dark brown, from ebay. Did have to mix but wasn't faffy. It has absolutely grabbed the white eyebrows, looks natural, and hasn't dyed the skin around. I'd say a success.
