L’Oreal Panorama mascara - wow!

I’ve always bought premium brand mascaras. My YSL Faux Cils was an utter disappointment and left me with panda eyes. Having read many reviews, I decided to try a drugstore one and settled on L’Oreal Panorama for £8 from Amazon. It was released in March. I can’t believe how brilliant it is - length, volume, curl, very black, doesn’t clump, no spider leg look. Just thought I’d mention it as I’ve benefited from many good makeup tips on here.

Agree. It requires a little work to build up to the dramatic look, but amazed it stays put through watery eyes and sneezing.

I hope you are on commission OP as I am another convert. Even DP noticed it (he loves falsies but I've never got on with them). It doesn't flake or smudge and stays on for ages. Love it.

Good to hear the feedback. Sometimes what works for one person might not for another. I’ve benefited from some great makeup tips on here. Just wanted to share.

I actually bought this on a recent visit to Canada (not seen it here in uk) and it’s amazing! I actually think it could be a tubing mascara, I wash it off in the shower with warm water and face wash. But the great thing is your lashes stay upright! They don’t droop so they look groomed all day! You need to keep adding coats but I am a total convert too and even more thrilled that I know I can get it on Amazon!!

Does it just wash off with hot water, or do you need special remover?

It came off in the shower with face wash and a face cloth this evening.

It comes off with just water. I clean just my eye lashes with water before going to the gym. No residue left over. It doesn’t feel oily/creamy (unlike my YSL Faux Cils).

Agree - the curl stays put throughout the day without any flaming.

I’ve never bought tubing mascara, but from what I’ve read, its performance sounds similar.

It stayed put in a circuits class!

Great to know. I LOVE the hourglass tubing mascara but it's £30+ I'll definitely give this one a try.

Not to derail the thread...but...any good recommendations for a cheap (ish) dark brown eyeliner?

I barely wear any makeup but look half dead without eyeliner and mascara!

Kiko ones are amazing. I use this. Stays put all day and MUCH better than my Chanel one in a similar colour. This has been recommended as an alternative to Victoria Beckham’s kajal pencil.

It's ok.
Good but not as good as Chanel Le Volume.
However it is much much cheaper.

I love Kiko eye pencils.

I also have the Victoria Beckham kajal pencil in silver grey. It's lovely.
I wish she would expand her colour range though as I'm looking for a soft greeny blue one similar to Sephora's 12 H Colourful in Fresh Mint

Decided to try this based on all the recs here - managed to buy it the day before it was in the Prime sale, doh! Anyway, have just applied and it really does look good. Will be interested to see how well it lasts the day.

I've tried better, it doesn't smudge but not much oomph in volume

I’m a longtime Lancôme Hypnose wearer and tried this and it’s fantastic! Can’t believe how good it is - a minuscule less length in lashes but I’m happy with that for half the price of Lancôme!

I bought it after this thread, looks great but really smudges for me, I have to powder lids.

It smudges for me too. To be fair most mascara does! What powder do you use?
