Did anyone regret a very short pixie or buzz cut?

I'm 42 with grey/white coming through into brunette hair. I just hate it and want it gone.

Did anyone do it? Will it make my face or neck look fat? What is the regrowth like??

Love mine! It's been short pixie since I was about 14 various styles I grew it out late thirties and hated it! Buzzed it off to a grade two about 5 years ago and love it!
I'm not slim, I don't wear make up but honestly could not care less if someone doesn't like it, I get more annoyed by ppl wanting to stroke my head :)

This length was my favourite

Yes, absolutely hated it. I felt I always needed to wear a lot of make up to not look like a monk.

I hated it when I buzzed it all off. I love a pixie cut but super short did not suit me at all. I looked like a potato.

I'm 55 and have just booked to get a pixie later this summer. A couple of years ago I had very long, very blonde hair. I've gradually got it cut shorter and allowed the color to turn to ash blonde rather than a dramatic long to short.

I'm planning on a long pixie-ish sort of scruffy short bob. I've shown my hairdresser pictures from the internet and also tied my hair to get the effect I want them taken a photo.

Hoping I won't regret it once I do it. I plan to dye it pink if I hate it!

Problem is that's no guarantee the result will be even - I've been going grey for about 10 years, since early 40s, but whilst the front is very grey, bits even white. a lot of the hair at the back is still growing brown!! It's not even at all. I contemplated the shave a few years ago- I'd had a pixie years ago- but it wouldn't have solved the grey/brown problem.

This is what Im wondering as well....pixie or not?
Im over 50 and currently have a bob with fringe and am sick to death of it!
