I keep seeing messages re the sale - on here, actually.
Any Brora wearers? Is it as special as the price tag would seem, or would I be paying too much for something I could get elsewhere?
Any heads up welcome.

I used to have a lot of Brora cashmere cardigans and a few dresses. Their stuff is nice and good quality. I don't have any at the moment as I just moved on to other brands and they dropped off my radar.

You can get similar to Brora from various sources but it won't be any cheaper.

I love Brora! Anything I've had from there (dresses and shirts) has been really lovely - well made, well cut, just really nice.

I only buy Brora second hand and it's been excellent. However, and as with so many brands, I've heard that the quality of their current stuff isn't as good, although I can't confirm that myself.

Yes, its excellent. The cashmere is great and I love the velvet and needlepoint cord.

I love the cashmere donegal sweaters. I have two, both from the sales, but still v expensive. They're that bit thicker than standard cashmere and feel so gorgeous to wear. I wasn't keen on the colours this last year, so my bank balance was spared.

Also got some of the gauzy cashmere, which is beautiful and delicate.

I have a beautiful shawl but the clothes aren't really my style, quality is excellent

I have a lot of cashmere jumpers and cardis from them, including two bought this season. Never been disappointed with any of them and haven't noticed a change in quality. I don't buy the dresses/skirts/shirts because they're not my style. I also have some lovely pyjamas.

Thank you all for your help, I have glanced at a few things, settling in for a good look this evening!

I hope you find something you like. I have a couple of their cashmere ponchos in beautiful bright colours. They are absolutely great as summer coverups in the evening, as an alternative to a jacket or cardigan and are so soft!

I like their cotton knit classic t-shirt, will be looking in the sale for more of them!
