Bruises & Bare Legs!

Going to a wedding next month and wearing a midi style dress, which is mid length, so comes half way between knee & ankle. The thing is, I bruise very very easily, so my legs ALWAYS have bruises, usually by walking into our bed (bloody bedroom so small!) I’m quite fair skinned but have been using a gradual tanning moisturiser as I can’t do fake tan, it ends up looking ridiculous on me. Tights aren’t an option. Is there anything else I can do or is there a supplement I can take to reduce the bruises I get? I’ve always been like this, I’ll just get them (like I say usually on my legs and arms) & have no idea how they got there! It’s frustrating & probably one of the reasons why I don’t bare my legs at all in summer!

If you're not going to do tights then not really. Not unless you use camouflage makeup on them. I sympathise as a fellow easily bruiser

Why are tights not an option?

I've got an emergency maxi for things like that, as there is literally no way - beyond not walking into things in the first place - to avoid bruises that will show through some Dove light self tan.

It’s just me, I’d be uncomfortable in tights - I never wear them!

Will have to try & be extra careful walking around leading up to the wedding & hope I don’t keep knocking into things!

I use a small bit of colour correction cream or concealer and then power + setting spray over! I also bruise like an absolute peach 😂 I love a good gradual tan, the bondi sands is my favourite.

I use Sally Hansen airbrush legs- it works like foundation for legs and almost makes it look like you're wearing tan tights. It washes off so you can put it on in the morning before the event.

Another vote for Sally Hansen - it's great and I have used it for years!

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. It's a spray, it stays on well, doesn't smudge on your clothes, and will only come off with warm water and soap. I've used it loads. Comes in a few skin shades. And cheapish!

Arnica cream applied as soon as you notice the bruise can help fade it quicker. I just tend to ignore my bruises though, if someone doesn't like seeing them that's not my problem

Sally Hansen is perfect for this. I spray on a fake tan mitt and then rub all over my leg and foot and it blurs bruises and veins out nicely
