I know we are usually Max4eva round these parts but that’s a bold palette. Clashing with the strikingly orange furniture behind her.

On the last day of their working visit to the United States, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands attended a reception at the Spiral building in the Hudson Yards. The reception was attended by local politicians and representatives of US and Dutch businesses in New York. King Willem-Alexander gave a short speech at the event. The Dutch King and Queen concluded the working visit with a reception.

She can carry it off, though!

@Papergirl1968 I think a lot of the RF are happy dressed down as they seem to embrace the country/horsey life.

I guess there are exceptions - Zara Philips, for example, generally looks better in casual wear. But William looks a million times better in a smart suit than The Dreaded Fleece.

A jacket and open collar shirt with sunglasses is my favourite look on William, but I do love his "weekend/holiday" look in the Father's Day photo they posted today. I know it's only from the back, but he looks great.

I know we've had this on a previous thread, but for anyone who's interested in men's tailoring etc then Derek Guy@dieworkwear is a brilliant account to follow on Twitter. He is OB. SESSED. with King Felipe!

I don't think I've ever seen Felipe less than well dressed. Even on the annual Balearics holiday!
His tailoring is spot on, and his casual looks very good.

This photo of Louise from yesterday, the bottom one, she reminds me of princess anne when she was young.

Yes! I'd never noticed that before. I always think she looks like the late Queen.

I just read that the King has made the Duchess of Gloucester a member of the Order of the Garter, evidently the first time it's been given to a "married-in" woman who was not married to the monarch or the heir. Well deserved, I say. Also, I have always liked Birgitte's style.

That's nice. Birgitte never expected to be the Duchess, and has really stepped up and been loyal and reliable. Plus, I like her style too!

William was born in 1982! I can assure you that no one other than Charles was dressing up in a doublebreasted suit and highly polished handmade shoes to have a kick around with his preschooler photo op!
