A tale of two Stephanies. Here is Monaco Stephanie, I think she has always had an androgynous style and I rather like the shirt and trousers combo.

Luxembourg Stephanie. I like the two items separately, but think there's a mismatch here between the orangey hues in the skirt and the pink blouse. As ever, she is so smiley and engaged!

Not keen on Lux Stephanie's outfit. Think she'd look sleeker in a dress rather than top and skirt. Love it when a royal seems genuinely interested and enjoying meeting folks.

Yes, she was a swimmer, and you're right about a swimmer's physique, like Charlene. I remember in the 80s Stephanie often went for quite a strong, pared down look. She would look good in some of Charlene's outfits.

Not sure if Stephanie was a competitive swimmer but she seemed to spent the best part of the 1980s wearing swimsuits!

I like the cut and shape of Mary's dress but I think that colour washes her out a bit.
