Zara is fab and I would love to see her step up as a working Royal. I know she won’t be asked but I think she would be good.

At least in the ensemble photo the height differences are far less. Diana did add some height into the RF as William and Harry are tall.

Sophie is wearing the Lotus flower tiara tonight

I was hoping Camilla would wear the Oriental Circlet tiara, but I think the Ruby tiara actually looks really good on her, so I’ll take that. And oooh - she has a royal order from the King on her garter sash - on the pale blue ribbon!

But, even more excitingly, a new tiara for Sophie!! (And given it’s one Kate has worn a few times does this mean Kate is also widening her tiara pool…? We can hope!). But no new order for Sophie?

Beautiful. I do like her necklace and earrings, too.

I like Vic Starmer's dress tonight - it must be hard in her position to know how to 'play' it. I saw Chris Ship (ITV) commenting on the seating positions- Keir is seated next to KC3 Chief of Staff whilst Rishi is next to an eminent computer scientist....

Here’s the elegant Duchess of Gloucester in her stunning Cartier Indian tiara, loads of other gorgeous jewellery (her personal vault is amazing) and her brand new Garter sash. Again, no family order for Brigitte either. Charles must have just given it to Camilla so far.

Yes, I think it's the Burmese Ruby tiara. She also appears to be wearing the Greville diamond necklace, which AFAIK is mine on the SoS.

It looks as if Keir’s waistcoat is riding up to reveal a bit of tummy 🤔😱

That's the best tiara I've seen Sophie wear. I don't love the Lotus Flower, but it's a lot nicer than the awful flimsy Claire's Accessories ones she's usually lumped with.

She looks incredibly elegant. What amazing jewels!

I so hope this means Sophie is going to be allowed to raid the jewellery box more often!

With only Camilla, Kate and Sophie needing to do so (Anne has her faves and seems to stick with them) it makes no sense not to let her. It’ll be years before Charlotte needs anything.

I agree that she looks great. Interesting about the seating plan.

And here’s a picture of Charles’ order. Phillip Treacy, a favourite designer of Camilla’s, designed the ribbon (not exactly a demanding commission…!) and the diamond surround was created from loose diamonds in the vault. They must have quite the collection of loose diamonds…
