To be fair to Charles his is a lack of interest in football. Hunting, shooting, fishing and horses are the only sports (with the addition of rugby for Anne) for most of the older generations of the RF. It's why the Duchess of Kent was often the royal at sporting events until she stepped down.
When we had a careers day at school and I didn't know what I wanted to do (and still don't over 30 years later) the careers teacher said well who has a job you'd like? I replied the Duchess of Kent as at the time she seemed to bounce from FA cup final to Wimbledon to England international and that was my idea of heaven!

How nice to see Catherine at Trooping the Colour, looking so elegant and, as always, absolutely immaculate. Bless her, that must've really taken it out of her. One of my favourite outfits of recent years - I can even give a pass for the white stilettos although I do wish she'd gone for something else.

All the children looked put together and behaved well; Louis brought his cuteness/antics as always. I'm one who likes the shorts and socks.

Lovely to see everyone at the races...and that beautiful brooch of Camilla's! Wow what a stunner on that light background. Seeing everyone in the family chat happily together was good, and nice to see the Middletons too - the past 6 months would have been so hard on them too.

Today’s Carriage List up in the other thread. Both King and Queen in attendance today, we had been told the King was unlikely to do all 5 days but he’s only missed 1 day so far. They do have a runner today in the 5.05.
