Shapewear advice needed.

So I've just wasted money on the HeyShape 'snatched' bodysuit. There's not enough support for my boobs and also made them look a ridiculous shape. I wasn't that impressed with what it did for my tummy anyway, but as soon as I put it on the hooks and eyes opened and it was impossible to get them done again.

I need some shapewear just for my tummy to wear under clingy dresses. I've previously tried high waisted knickers but they just rolled down.

Do I need one of those bodysuits that comes down below a bra?

Can anyone recommend any?

Thanks.

No but I'm following as I have the same problem. I really need something that will smooth down my belly but is comfortable and doesn't roll down. Plus, easy to manage on toilet trips.

pumbaasmiles well let's hope someone can help!

Following. I think I need a shapewear vest that I can wear over a bra, as these hidden support ones do not work for me.

pumbaasmiles and gardenmusic I'm going to start a new thread in AIBU for more traffic, do you want me to tag you guys?

I don't mind, but honestly you will get all the trolls and men, and 'just go on a diet' comments.
Might be better to bump, or rephrase title on here?

I have read lots of threads and bought lots of stuff over the years (size 8-10 pre kids/ in my younger days now size 14 bum /tum and 12 up top). I have a relatively short torso and I’m only 5’2.

My thought is that we are all so different and carry weight so differently that what is amazing for one person is totally useless for others. The least bad for me for a proper suck everything in is a shapewear under bra slip, M&S, but it can ride up a bit at the thigh so maybe a cycle shorts version would be better for that (but worse for toilet!). I couldn’t wear it everyday though as it’s so constricting. More occasion wear I think. Best ‘everyday’ is John Lewis any day hold me in knickers - comfy, good smooth the tum shape, but I wouldn’t actually wear every day as not cotton.

Personally for me high leg knickers and bodysuits give me a fantastic bulge at the top of thigh where they stop so I always opt for something longer to smooth the transition.

following thread for other ideas.

I have high Spanx, and on me they don't roll down, they might on others.
They are such a faff, though, and I only really need a vest for my abdomen.

Did you buy anything @Witchcraftandhokum ? I’m being hounded by Facebook ads of miracle body shaping bodysuits and if they work I need one before I go on holiday in a few weeks 😂
