Bra help please

Looking for some help! DD16 has body image issues due to her large breasts. She is also autistic so struggles with sensory stuff.
As a result, bra shopping is incredibly soul destroying for her.
We braved bravissimo and they measured her as 34GG.
We got one that she was happy with. However, it is lacey. She wants a smooth bra to wear under T shirts and the fitter couldn't find any in their usual brands. I am going to order online from the usual high street shops but would love recommendations of where to look.
Being a teen, she would also like them to be pretty but for a start a good fitting one in a few nice colours will suffice.
Thanks very much!!

I like fantasie bras.

marriednotdead · 14/06/2024 23:25

Do you know the name of the lacy one that you got? Would be helpful to find a similar shape for you.

midgetastic · 14/06/2024 23:28

Molke is by far the most comfortable and really makes you feel normal ( feels more like a vest )

Also autistic, large boobs and must have a smooth line under T shirts and hate anything showing- you need Freya!

The Offbeat is smooth and comes in fun colours, they have an “Undetected” range in black and neutrals and my personal favourite is Idol because this shape and soft band suits me best.

Elomi. The most comfortable bras for the busty ever made.

Elomi. The most comfortable bras for the busty ever made.

Second that. I exclusively wear their plunge bra styles and can happily sleep in them

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
I ordered all the Freya ones but the cup is too big in the 34GG. They were all fairly pretty so she was upset they didn't fit.
The lacey one that fits was the bravissimo millie.
I will try the other brands suggested and keep ordering in different cup sizes till we find the right one.

@DarkChocHolic The best description I can give you for the one you’ve got is a shorter, wider quite shallow cup. Millie is great if you haven’t got lots of volume on top. Closest I’ve found to it is the Fantasie Fusion and Freya Offbeat padded half cup. The Fantasie Smoothease T-shirt bra may also work but you’d need a cup size smaller, if you can card bash I’d get both sizes in all of them and return the ones that don’t fit.

@marriednotdead
That's very helpful of you.
I will bash away and order them and fingers crossed it works.
Will report back!
Xx

@DarkChocHolic Did you have any success?

Butterflysunshine01 · 27/07/2024 06:34

boux avenue lounge bras are soo soft and comfy, supportive enough for every day. Defo recommend

savvy7 · 27/07/2024 06:52

Another vote for Fantasie. Only brand of bra I buy now, after trying many others.
