Just curious...

Mine is quite traditional and wears his hair in a 'business cut' with no distinct fade. Combed to the side, but no part.

Yours? Long hair, tight fade, buzz cut, mullet?

Dh has a number 1 all over. I cut it for him

paasll · 14/06/2024 19:48

I also cut my dh's. Grade 3 all over.

HowDoYouSpellThat · 14/06/2024 19:49

Mines got longish, shoulder length hair. Its quite ringletty but he usually wears it up. Hes well fit.

Workawayxx · 14/06/2024 19:50

Varies between a thick sticking out hedge look when needing a cut to number 3 on top, 2 round the back and sides and 1/0 at the edges (done by me, not very professionally 🙈). Looks best a couple of weeks after a cut. Practicality is all 😂.

Funkyfizz · 14/06/2024 19:51

Bald mostly.

BlowDryRat · 14/06/2024 19:52

Short back and sides with a neat parting. No fancy bits.

Catnipcupcakes · 14/06/2024 19:58

Mostly bald, since his twenties. He clips the rest himself (no1) and wears a well trimmed goatee.

Synergies · 14/06/2024 19:58

Bald on top with a wiry grey hedge round the perimeter 🤣

NoDishyRishi · 14/06/2024 20:00

Mostly bald, he shaves the rest that remains. Massive long Viking style beard to make up for it. It's currently about a foot long

Devilsmommy · 14/06/2024 20:03

Shaved to zero. Gorgeous 😍

Toooldforthis36 · 14/06/2024 20:04

Bald as a coot 🤣

CHEESEY13 · 14/06/2024 20:06

Comb over.

Yuk!

Gallantly hanging on to what's left. Some swansong.......

MsTada · 14/06/2024 20:08

Long brown hair, just starting to get the odd grey one at the age of 37, which I find oddly attractive. He also has a lovely thick beard, which he trims every now and again if it gets more than a couple of inches long.

StoatofDisarray · 14/06/2024 20:09

I don't know, he goes to a bloke called Ron who charges him £7 and works near Tower Bridge Road. Here it is.

Turkish barber keeps it neat. Short all over. Not balding at all at age 60.

Clearinguptheclutter · 14/06/2024 20:21

Not sure what a “business cut” is?

my dh is grade 1.5 all over. I do it for him.

Also my DH is the very epitome of a business man. He really likes a short hair cut.

PantsAcademy · 14/06/2024 20:35

Shaved sides, longer on the top. Sometimes wears it slicked back/up, sometimes to the side. Used to be really long but he got fed up of it getting in his face. I shaved it for him in lockdown but couldn't do it long term!

mdinbc · 14/06/2024 20:43

Business cut is like StoatofDisarray's man. Your basic short cut with a bit longer top, without distinction between lengths.

I went to my Gkid's sporting event and was surprised to see how many mullets were being sported by 8-10 year old crowd!

Grade 3 all over, done by me in the kitchen.
The top left the building years ago !

Tulipvase · 14/06/2024 21:24

Full head of grey hair and a 2 round the back and sides and a 3/4 on top. Was left to grow in lock down and I liked it actually, well the longer top any way.

merryhouse · 14/06/2024 21:46

I too have no idea what those terms mean, but it sounds like it might be a business cut. I know the back and sides are a 3 (because when I started taking the boys that's what he suggested to ask for) and he has the little pointy bit at the nape (I believe it may be what's called a DA?). Fringe sort of supports itself across the forehead - when it starts to flop you know it's time to go back.

As he gets well into his fifties and more of them lose their colour, he's started to get a bit of a kink in it, which is really weird because for almost the first time he looks like his dad...

ManilowBarry · 14/06/2024 22:04

Exactly like this but sometimes the sides are shorter. None of that hideous fade look.

He has beautiful lingerie curly grey hair which is past his shoulders.
He rarely wears it down though.
Had it done in a viking style plaited do for our wedding, His hair took longer to do than mine
