Can anyone advise on bra fitting please?

Help! Can’t figure out my bra size! Got measured as a 32c a few years back and the bra I purchased then is still a good and comfortable fit so ordered same bra, same size except this one makes my boobs look, I dunno know, sort of squished, pushed together if that makes sense. On the loosest hook, I’ve a bit of fatty overhang just at the side of my back. Measured myself and am getting 30-31 around the band but there is no way I could wear a 30” bra, it would be way too tight round the band. Bust measurement was almost 34. I don’t know whether to hang on to what I ordered, go up a band and down a cup or ….

Any experts got pointers please? Thanks!

The idea is to have the lower band for all the support and then a big enough cup to fit everything in.

You are measuring as a 30DD.
With a DD cup you might well find it does do up! Or you might prefer a sister size of 32D.

The only way is to try on a lot of bras in different styles and sizes.

Back fat is normal
You should be able to just pull the back band out a couple of cm, it should be firm and level around your body
Boobs should be fully encased in the wire, scoop them into the bra and swoop a finger around the top of the cup, checking for double boob
If you lift your arms, it shouldn't rise up and the wire in the centre should lie flat
Shoulder straps should just lift off the shoulders a small amount if you pull them up

Technically it would be a 30 band but if you're 31 then either way, you might need to try a couple of different styles (balcony, plunge etc) and a few brands. I can only wear one brand so it's very variable!

You’re both brilliant, thank you! Now knowing I can ignore the back fat, I’ll have a try on again tomorrow and check all your pointers. 32D might be a good call. There’s one brand I particularly love and have worn for years so am sticking with that! Thanks again.
