all day suncream

interested in your experiences with suncreams that's meant to last a bit longer (as in all day, or half day) than the usual stuff. any recommendations? it's for kids on school trips, so a bargain would be fab!

We use Ultrasun and have done for many years.
We've never had any issues with it re burning, etc and dd, who reacts to lots of the other sun creams, is also fine with this brand.

We've used it all over the world including in very hot and humid weather, as well as dry heat.

We normally only apply once a day, about 10 minutes or so before getting dressed. The only time we reapply is if we spend a lot of time in the pool and use a towel to dry off.

My skin is very fair. Without protection I can burn in 10 minutes in the UK.

I use Soltan factor 50 abroad and 30 in the UK. I only use it onece a day and don't burn with it.

We used p20 - both the adults one and the kids on one - on our last holiday. It lasts 10 hours - 3 if swimming. Amazing stuff!

I have very pale skin and when travelling to hot countries I used P20. Popped it on in the morning, didn’t reapply and never burnt. Even works after swimming.

We use boot's Soltan and have done since we had DC who is now 14 and they have never burned. We vary the factor depending on if we're in the UK or abroad.

We use Calypso once a day, buy from amazon or home bargains

Have always used the boots protect and play all day with mine - with for school and on holiday. Is usually factor 50. Works well - but need to put it on and let it dry before putting clothes on to avoid staining.

P20 is absolutely brilliant. Lasts all day even if in and out of the water

I’ve used Boots Soltan once a day in this country and Spain on very hot days and it’s been great. Many years ago I used Ultrasun in a tropical country and it worked perfectly. I was incredibly impressed.

Ultrasun is fantastic. It has the added benefit of not making your clothes turn yellow like most other suncream.
