What does this mean?

I was looking at blazers and saw some described this way. I googled and I found this answers were debated.

I take it to mean that the edges meet at the front but it has no fastening zip or buttons.

Ah! That's different again to what I read!

I read one answer saying it was all one piece of material and no seams.
