What item of clothing do you have that tells a story?

I was just thinking about my own wardrobe. I have so many bits that have history attached to them, either my own or the people who have given them to me. I have jumpers that I've been handed down that now feel like precious pieces of that person; the tshirt I gave birth in; a coat that is lovely but was given to me by a horrible ex so it carries a bad feeling around with it.
I was just wondering whether you have similar bits and bobs in your wardrobe?

I have a nightgown I gave birth in and a pair of pjs I wore in hospital after birth and any time I wear them it remind both my husband and I of the birth of our son.
Theres a dress I wore on my favourite day of honeymoon so whenever I look at that it brings back great memories.
I wish I had more normal clothes that had nice memories attached!

I have a very old Barbour international Steve McQueen black waxed jacket that is now more than likely no longer waterproof. I wore it while urbexing so its got holes from barbed wire and glass in it, the cuffs are frayed, it smells like a dead sheep, and its got fake blood from when my ex borrowed it on the set of GOT spattered up one of the arms. Fell through a ceiling in it 😂
I love it and it will never be sold and I dont want to send it to Barbour because they will re-wax it and repair all the frays but at the same time I dont really wear it much anymore because its battered.

Also got a Diesel belt that ive worn every day since my early to mid twenties that has a big enamel rectangular buckle on it that says "Superstar".
Must be 20 years old now but I love it.

I have a pair of jeans that I almost threw out prior to moving because they were way too tight, but didn’t. I became very ill and lost way too much weight in the space of 8 months and the bloody things are too big. I don’t want to grow back into them.

pair of pj's my mum.bought me. Her last gift before she passed away. They are too fragile to be worn now. Also too small..

I get rid of clothes with bad memories. They attract negative energy, imo.
