I’m looking for body mosturisers that smell good

Have you got a favourite perfume that has a matching body lotion? I’d be tempted to go down that route.

Cocoa butter

Bath & Bodyworks at Next have some beautiful body lotions

OneFrenchEgg · 11/06/2024 09:11

Do you not want to buy the Sol de janeiro?

Flossflower · 11/06/2024 09:12

Laura Mercier body moisturisers smell lovely but are expensive.

PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich · 11/06/2024 09:15

Are you asking if you can buy Sol de Janeiro at Body Shop? I don't think you can, but they have it in Boots and lots of other online retailers. It's fabulous body cream.

@PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich
Thank you
For some reason I didn’t finish the post

I am wondering if Sol de Janeiro is similar to BodyShop or better and if it is worth it

You can buy a dupe for this in Poundland - Brazilian Bliss Body Butter - I think it's around £3 maybe? It smells lovely and soaks in to the skin well, and seems quite moisturising. Worth a try at that price.

I think the bum bum cream used to be a lot more viscous - remember having a pot in an advent calendar about 8 years ago and was really impressed with it but now it seems so thin - anyone else notice the same?

I still go back to the Body Shop body butters but not the sweet ones. Khiel's creme de corps is great but expensive. Cerave is nice but boring.

@sweetpickle2 thank you so much, the reviews are amazing - I bought the oil and put the lotion in my wishlist

This is a weird thread. Do you use sol de janiero and want a cheaper alternative or do you not want to try it, but try something similar?
