Current makeup/ skincare?

I've not really kept up with makeup trends, and my makeup look is probably stuck about 10 years ago.
I've tried looking online but struggling to find what I'm looking for, so thought I would see if the knowledgeable people of style and beauty might be able to help me.

What sort of makeup looks are easy and current?
I'm early 30s, and struggling with how to do my makeup that doesn't look outdated like I'm still in my early 20s and going on a night out.
Ideally something quick and easy to do, which makes me look more polished and fresh I'm thinking.
Happy for recommendations for products as well as styles and techniques. My budget is relatively limited, not the basic stuff but not designer really.

Also, what skincare should I be using? Currently I do a hyaluronic acid serum and basic moisturizer morning and night, and a AHA/BHA serum at night a few times a week.

Thank you all in advance!!

Personally, I'd start looking on youtube/tik tok for ideas and tutorials to find something you like.

For the record, if you haven't worn make up for a while, I'd keep it very simple and light to start with. A light coverage foundation/tinted moisteriser, perhaps a small bit of blush (I always find you need a bit of blush if you're wearing foundation), some mascara and some light lipstick.

Foundation is worth getting proper colour tested with - I like Mac, Bobbi Brown, Trinny and Charlotte Tilbury myself.
