Does anyone have any ideas when the Next sale will be starting? Also I'm wanting to buy some occasionwear for dc for an event coming up early next year. I saw some lovely, ideal stuff on Next site. Does occassionwear typically get reduced? Thanks in advance!

IME the items in the Next sale bear absolutely zero resemblance to anything they've ever had in the shop. It always seems like they have a huge pile of random awful items out the back that have been kicked around the floor of months before they drag them out the front for the sale.
All in a size 24 or a 6.

If it's a DD, I think monsoon sale may be a better option?

Last year the sale started 8th July.

I often get a VIP slot and there's usually lots of occasion wear. It's also worth regularly checking the clearance section of the website outside of sale times.

Thanks all. Minikievs I completely agree about the instore stuff. I worked at Next for Christmas once and saw that all the good stuff was put back out to stores and some tatty looking stuff from summer was brought out to sell along with the Christmas bits!
However I do think online is a bit better and good for bargains. Still a lot of tat I'm sure! But the early bird catches the worm so I'm hoping to grab some stuff for dcs asap. This is my first time with the store card so hopefully will get a vip slot 😊

I would suggest looking at Next Clearance/ Designer Brands online.
There will be loads on there mainly winter styles at the moment.
I got my wedding dress (registry office wedding) from Adrianna Papell on the Next website.

It's usually around the middle of July as it was always on when we were on holiday.
My daughter worked there and thought that some of the "Sale" stuff was specially brought in as she couldn't recall it being sold previously. These were usually rack upon rack of monstrosities.

Going from last yr I would imagine Saturday 6th July. Lots of other places have started sales already so I noticed last yr it seemed earlier than usual.

I think vip slots will start around 2/3 July. I had my vip slot while I was away last yr think it was around 4/5 July.

Not sure re occasion wear though sorry.

Ooh just got my VIP invitation! And I can see that one of the outfits I have my eye on for dc is half price. Hopefully I'll get the size! Thanks all.
