Don’t think it is genuine…?

I have been left a bag by a relative. I have no idea if it is genuine so before I whizz it, can anyone help? She did have some nice things so there is a chance it could be!

it is a Mulberry bag. Seems ‘heavy’ in terms of leather quality and the fixings, zips etc are very solid. Lining is as shown and disc badge etc all look genuine but there again, I don’t have experience of these things. Stitching is all very neat, even sizes and no messy joins/ends.

Can anyone help ? I’m not remotely near a shop to take it in for them to see either.

It's a Daria clutch bag, something a quick google image search would tell you A good place to start here, and then cross check it across listings. Also worth looking at Mulberry's website too as they sell pre-loved bags too - they have a few, as do the Handbag clinic.

Am not a Mulberry expert but do remember this collection pretty well. The strap doesn't look right. I don't remember this style having a shoulder strap The zipper is missing it's leather pull.

It does thank you and on the Google searches I did I only found one with a strap and the placement was different which made me think it isn’t genuine. This also seems bigger than the clutch bags I found online. I will have another google this afternoon but thanks again.

This one is verified as genuine. The strap on OP's one is far too short to be a cross body bag. Possibly the bag is genuine but the original strap has been lost?Daria

Is there a 'made in' label? The font on the 'Mulberry' print doesn't look right to me.

Hmmm, mine doesn’t have that little pocket when opened up either and where the straps are attached to the bag is different too. Looks like a copy then. Bah!

There should be a tag number under the metal tag , you can Google it.
To me it's not right but I'm willing to be corrected (I collect vintage bags )

There are companies who authenticate. I think I've used authenticate4u previously who are very good but they need lots of photos
