I have lightish, warm-tones brown hair with some natural highlights but more and more greys coming through.
Thought in my infinite wisdom to pick up a blonde casting creme gloss (semi permanent) and whack it on, thinking it would only potentially tint my greys. Obviously I now know that was not a good idea!
It lightened my whole hair and three weeks later I have a ring of orange hair around my roots (also applied unevenly) which definitely isn't fading! And darker roots are growing through which I thought I would avoid by going with the semi permanent.
Anything I can do at home considering it might not fade as hoped? Thinking maybe of doing a light (ashy) brown semi permanent on top in a week's time...but is that just a recipe for further disaster?
For info, some greys were covered I reckon, some weren't.
