Lighthouse Jackets

I am thinking to get one of this jackets, it’s called Beachcomber long jacket.
Anyone has this particular jacket?
I tried many others jackets but find the either too heavy like Barbour or got recently soaked in my Joules coat , was to be waterproof? I’m really fed up now.
On this website the details say it’s well water proof and also lightweight jacket.
Is this an old lady coat? I’m in my late 30s.

Seasalt do waterproof coats. If you want a more fashionable brand, given your age, try Rains. A favourite of a younger women and lightweight versions in loads of colours. The Goodmove range at M&S has waterproof jackets too, @Wetsummer

I’ve got two from them.one is a full length padded coat and the other the Beachcomber.They’re great, comfy and wash well. Arrive in a couple of days. Fit true to size.

They look OK to me. Practical and better than getting wet.
Not sure what 'old lady' clothes are meant to look like.

Old Lady is what a 80 year old would wear. This one has a Parker style but the colour is slightly off. Great summer rainwear can be popped over what you are wearing and packs up readily.
