Aldi skincare

A few years ago, I bought some nice Aldi beauty products, included was a Lacura peptide moisturizer and rose face oil. I kept them until I needed them and am only running low now. They're surprisingly good and cost a pittance.
I had them delivered.
In the meantime any time I've been to the store, while there are some products like toners and the Lacura day moisturiser (which is pretty good) they seem to have stopped doing the additional fancier products and also no longer deliver?
Has anyone else noticed this? And if you could recommend a reasonably priced peptide cream for night as a substitute I'd be really appreciative :)

Usually Aldi bring some of their facial products out in a special buy so you just need to keep an eye on their social media/ store magazine to keep up to date.

Sadly the stopped doing home delivery last year.

Sorry no use on the night cream as I still haven’t found one I like yet.

This makes sense. I think the items I bought were at the tail end of the lcokdown and they had gone really heavy on self care items. I got a facial massager and a foot spa too.
It's a shame about the delivery aspect, I'm not too close to aldi (or lidl) and liked ordering some of the kids items as gifts.
I will target the other budget brands for peptide creams :) :)

Inkey list have not long released a peptide moisturiser. I didn’t try the Aldi one but this one is quite nice! It feels rich but not heavy. I think it’s about 18 pounds but they often have discount codes.

Thank you for the rec. That's not too bad actually, especially as it's an ingredient I get results from :)

The Aldi Caviar Serum is fantastic, apparently a Creme De La Mer dupe.

I second this. It's great stuff, I use the night cream and my skin looks so much healthier.
I'm 49 and a smoker and it really nourishes my skin.

I've been wondering about aldi skincare fir a while, the money for some of the pricer stuff isn't doable for me so I'm always looking for a dupe. But our local aldi is limited so I also need skincare that gets delivered.

My favourite ever eyeshadow palette was from aldi, a anastasia Beverly Hills dupe, called moon shine. In a velvet case. They still show up on ebay/vinted time to time.

Not aldi but makeup revolution do a dupe of the Charlotte Tilburys magic cream. I've used a sample of the CT cream and it was really lovely, but the revolution one felt nice on my skin also, very nourishing but not greasy. Asos usually have it on sale.

I know superdrug cleansers with the muslin cloth are a liz earle dupe for her facial wash.

I love the aldi pink clay version but can't always find them but I think the superdrug one is more gentle on skin.

I have the rose oil and love the scent of it and how it feels on the skin. Shame they cant just do it permanently, my Aldi is not well stocked even when the stuff is meantto be on or things sell out so quickly.

Love aldi skincare, rose oil is amazing. Lip oils are fab too. I've not tried the caviar rang i think it might be abit heavy for my skin. I just wish they were stocked all the time

I really like the Aldi cream cleansers. I try to buy a couple when I see them because they aren’t always there! They seem to have a bit more slip than the Liz Earle one, whilst being so much cheaper. My favourite is the pineapple one, but the pineapple serum (a dupe for glow recipe) did something weird to my skin, it felt like I had chemical burns and my skin took ages to go back to normal.

@YearsofYears the Aldi rose oil is a dupe of Pixie rose oil, which is currently on Amazon for just over £16. Alternatively, boots does a rose oil for £2.50, which has good reviews.😊

YearsofYears · 08/06/2024 15:30

I think I've seen the Pixi oil it's a dupe of so can stock up next time there's an offer in boots :) I'm definitely going to keep myself more informed about the aldi weekly deals so I can swoop next time.
