Am I the only one re sizing ?

So I have ordered a pair of trousers - not expensive so happy to send them back

But when I see sizing on the internet it goes 8-10 , 12 - 14.

I am quite short but probably 10 - 12 would be better - 8 too small - 14 probably too big although when trousers arrive I may be disabused of this . Is this just an occupational hazard . 😄

Yeah, it's not just you. It kind of works with stretchy tops but trousers really need to fit properly.

I'm an 18 and get pjs in size 18-20 but M&S do theirs in 16-18 and 20-22 so either too tight or far too big. It's quite annoying.

@longtompot - this is my problem as well - I know that size 8 to 10 won't even touch the sides on me but bottom halves ( if forgiving ) a 10 - 12 might work. I've just ordered a 12 - 14 and I think 14 might be a bit big but maybe if they are on the 12 side might be OK ( they have an elasticated waist. ) But we shall see . Tops I am fine I tend to go for a bigger size and they tend to be fine. I just wish they did the in between sizes.

Glad to know not just me 😊
