If you could choose ONLY ONE makeup brand, which would it be?

Mine would be ELF. Affordable, cruelty free and contains near exact dupes of higher end products. Could do a full face with 3-4 products.

Maybelline

where are posters getting Lisa Eldridge make up from? and is the foundation as good as the hype?

MrsWhites · 03/06/2024 21:29

Nars because I couldn’t live without their cream and powder bronzers.

I do love Elf though - their brow lift gel is genuinely as good as the Anastasia Beverly Hills one and their cream blush and primers are brilliant!

bilgewater · 03/06/2024 21:32

If I really absolutely had to get everything from one brand it would probably have to be Rimmel! Cheap as chips, huge range and much more reliable for things like non-orange foundation than other brands. I've been wearing make up for 40 years, so I've tried a lot, at all price points.

MangshorJhol · 03/06/2024 21:33

Typology which is less make up-y and more skin care. I wear their tinted moisturiser as foundation and their lip oils are great. I like Merit as well especially their bronzers and cheek balm.

deeahgwitch · 03/06/2024 21:35

Kiko Milano.
I like their bronzers, eye pencils and lipsticks.

I mostly use bareminerals or benefit. Never heard of Jones Road - need to check that out now.

Bobbi Brown’s new brand, for mature women, it is amazing

Ineedanewsofa · 03/06/2024 21:53

Eborian - their colour corrector and cc creams are witchcraft! Completely neutralises my rosacea and stays put for hours.
Also Rodial for their banana lowlighter and glass powder

Lillygolightly · 03/06/2024 21:59

Agree with @bilgewater it would be Rimmel for me too, I have been using their foundation for the last 13 plus years (basically ever since Almay went out of business) it’s cheap, long lasting and matches my very pale yet olive toned complexion perfectly.

I used to love MAC and I do still have some of their products, loved their studio fix foundation until my skin suddenly decided to take a big dislike to it, however I don’t think MAC is as good as it once was, or maybe it’s just that cheaper brands have equally good products.

Toodleoodleooh · 03/06/2024 22:04

Revolution especially the pro range. It’s amazing

HenryCavillsPerfectTeeth · 03/06/2024 22:06

Fenty beauty. Love the lipsticks

Proudofitbabe · 03/06/2024 22:07

Estée Lauder - best mascara and solid in everything else.

Soap & Glory, Loreal or Milani as budget options.

Guavafish1 · 03/06/2024 22:07

collection

stayathomer · 03/06/2024 22:22

I’m so stuck as rimmel for foundation, Aimee Connolly for primer, le Roche posay mascara, mac setting spray … I honestly couldn’t let any go!!!!

MrsWhites · 03/06/2024 22:33

deeahgwitch · 03/06/2024 21:35

Kiko Milano.
I like their bronzers, eye pencils and lipsticks.

There mascaras are the best!

poppym12 · 03/06/2024 22:34

Gosh Copenhagen

DelphiniumBlue · 03/06/2024 22:39

Trinny London, Revlon or Nyx.

Rugby1971 · 03/06/2024 22:41

Dior Prestige Foundation
Lancôme mascara
Bobbi Brown lipstick
Dior eyeshadow
Wunderbrow
Chanel concealer

EllaPaella · 03/06/2024 22:46

Estée Lauder- mainly because nothing beats double wear and everything else they do is also pretty good,

zeibesaffron · 03/06/2024 22:55

Dior or Charlotte Tilsbury!

CandiedPrincess · 03/06/2024 22:58

Charlotte Tilbury.

ZaZathecat · 03/06/2024 23:07

Collection, same reasons as the op

Franticbutterfly · 03/06/2024 23:09

Hourglass.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 03/06/2024 23:15

Revolution
Their ranges are inexpensive but perform just like high end brands
Try if you don't believe me!
I have a favourite lipstick which outperforms MaC in longevity and pigment.. on my lips anyway

hardhabits · 03/06/2024 23:16

Clarins, no contest!

ginandheels · 03/06/2024 23:38

One brand only? Bobby Brown.

But would mourn the loss of:
Mac
Chanel
Hourglass
Laura Mercier
Lancôme
Charlotte Tilbury
Clinique
Nars
Dior
Revolution
Benefit
Max Factor
Rimmel
Essie

I haven’t tried Elf yet… thanks for the tip!
