Clicking heels

I’ve just bought a pair of black low block heeled shoes which are perfect for my new job. But when I walk the inside of the heel makes an annoying click with each step.
I returned the first pair because of this and hoped the second pair I ordered would be fine, but sadly they’re not.
Does anyone know of a way to stop the clicking? Or is it a job for a shoe repair shop?
Or, does anyone have any recommendations for low block heeled, black, closed toe shoes I can try instead? Thanks!

Is it the heel tip that is hard and noisy on flooring, or is the shoe slapping against you heel with each step (the dreaded flip flop sound)?

If you have a hard heel tab or tip, then go to a shoe repair and they can replace it with a softer rubber that is not noisy.

It’s inside the heel - so not the actual bottom of the heel clicking on the floor. It’s like when the heel touches the floor, inside it makes a click. I might just have to return them again maybe.

I've had that with shoes too.
Most odd and I wondered why.

I've got a pair of boots that do this at work too! They only do it on the work carpet. They drive me insane.

I messed about with them once, bending the sole and stuff and it did stop for a while. But the clicky boots are back now - if you find a solution please share!!!
