Does this outfit work?

I can't get these trousers to work with anything in my wardrobe!

I like the blouse. But I'd wear trousers that colour with a black or navy blouse and add a tan belt.

As others have said just needs a belt.

Cos is producing tent like clothes that does not look good even on models they picked up, styled and photographed.
It is just overpriced frump.

You look great. The blouse is lovely, the trousers are fine. Yes they are a bit slim fitting, but you can carry it off easily. Would sizing up give you a more louche shape? Add a tan belt and you'll be good to go either way. Looking better than 90% of people out there, easily.

Could work with a navy fine knit sweater. Another idea might be a black waistcoat - I’ve just bought a linen one plus a couple of white cap sleeved T-shirts to wear with a similar pair of trousers.

I think they look good, for those suggesting a wider leg, you either go wide leg or slim fit like OPs trousers. In between just looks like clown trousers, shapeless and baggy.

The blouse looks ok with them OP, but I would definitely wear a belt, quite a striking one, in perhaps black patent or dark brown leather, big buckle, not one of those slim belts

I keep seeing ads for these so I looked at them, they have 'waffle' material, they sound horrible and they're nothing like the type of look OP is wearing so its not a like for like alterantive.

Add a brown belt with a gold buckle, a fine gold neck chain, chunky earrings, and a pair of loafers 👍🏻

They're not too narrow at the top - they're too wide at the bottom. I think you need a more tapered fit.

I love the look. A great classic look that looks elegant, without trying. I'd add a belt, pumps or loafers. Maybe a blazer for cooler days. For me cream looks good with white, black, tan or navy. That should open up a few options.

I think you look great overall but the trousers could potentially look better with a different colour top - maybe a dusky pink or mauve, something subtle but cool toned because the trousers are taupe and I think need to be paired with something else cool toned. Even a blouse that is more stone than white I think would help. But I already think you look 8/10 so if I were you would just get out and enjoy life!
