Can anyone recommend a tried & tested lash serum that has really worked please ?

I've used uk lash for a couple of years now and it genuinely works.

I use revitalash. It's absolutely amazing! It's expensive but it works and is worth every penny (I always find a site with discount so I don't pay full price).

The Ordinary one works for me and my lashes and brows are much thicker and fuller since I started using it. However I've not tried any of the more expensive ones as a comparison.

Housewife2010 · 03/06/2024 09:08

I've been using UK Lash every night for 2 months now & nothing! I swear by Rapidbrow so maybe I should try Rapidlash.

Housewife2010 · 03/06/2024 09:08

Revitalash didn't work for me either.

EmmaStone · 03/06/2024 09:17

Revitalash was good for me, but pricey. I get similar results with UK Lash, and buy when they're doing an offer.

UK Lash made my eyelids, top & bottom, very deep red, not a good look. I don’t normally have dark circles but looked like I’d been punched in the eyes.

My experiences - I use NYK1 lash from Amazon on and off, and it does work to make lashes longer (comes in a larger tube than most others too) Revitalash is the best (VERY dramatic length)but very expensive. Rapidlash works to some extent, but nothing to write home about. I've tried others that haven't worked at all. Thinking of trying The Ordinary one next as I like the brand. My lashes don't grow well naturally as I'm hypothyroid.

Phantasmagorically · 03/06/2024 10:03

do a bit of research into some of the negative side effects of prostaglandin before choosing a lash serum. I'd only use one that didn't contain it.

revitalash works very well but you don't see any results for at least six weeks so a lot of people give up. It has literally transformed my lashes

I’m hypothyroid too, didn’t know it affected lashes as suppose I should have seeing how it affects hair ( and weight 🙁)
Does anyone know of one that doesn’t contain the stuff that makes your lids darken?

Edited

Yes, lashes AND brows (not for everyone though, people get different symptoms. For instance I lost weight as one of my symptoms although I'm definitely hypo)
The darkening; I have noticed darkening just above my lashes, not the whole lid. I think they might all do it, because both lash and brow growth products make the lashes and brows themselves darker.

Lily193 · 03/06/2024 15:21

I've used Rapidlash in the past with pretty good results. Latisse has by far the best effect on my lashes but side effects are an issue for some people.

MissAtomicBomb1 · 03/06/2024 16:25

I've used uk lash since Christmas. Definitely a difference in thickness but not hugely impressed with length.
Might try revitalash as I had good results with it many years ago.

@Phantasmagorically yes I was unaware of any side effects when I first asked the question but have now been made aware of some, so will research more thoroughly before going ahead.

@MissAtomicBomb1 I can definitely see a difference!

everyone else, thank you for the recommendations.
