Is there anyway to keep my hair looking nice between my roots being coloured??
I'm naturally brunette (or at least I was until the greys started!) but I've been dying my hair since I was 16. Because of that, when the greys started to come in more, I just continued to dye over them but now it all grows in very obviously grey. Generally I colour my roots every two to three months as that's when it gets too hard to bare. The greys are literally noticeable from two weeks after colouring and I can't afford the upkeep, money or time wise!
Now I'm probably 80% grey hair at the root (currently about 1.5inches!) and I'm not ready to fully embrace the grey as I'm only 34. The biggest problem and the thing that keeps me getting it dyed is I'm fed up of my freshly washed hair looking dirty between colourings. No matter what it always looks dull and dirty.
Can anyone recommend some shampoo (preferably shampoo bars) that would help stop my hair looking so dull and gross? Thanks!
