Freckle remover

I am in my early forties and my skin is ok apart from freckles that I think age me. They are under my eyes making it look darker.
Has anyone tried a product to help fade freckles? I know it can take about 3 months to work, but I would rather pick a product that is recommended.

I think freckles are lovely! However I have seen posts of women removing them using tretinoin compounded with hydroquinone. It's prescription strength so you would be able to get it from the usual online dermatologists line Dermatica or Skin and Me.

I always think freckles make you look younger, not older!
Vitamin C and niacinamide are good for pigmentation and obviously you need sunscreen to stop more pigmentation.

Do you use an SPF 50? I am very freckly but as long as I'm diligent with the sunscreen they stay light.
