Bra - ideas

I am 36G and need a new bra to wear under a wrap style dress for a wedding. I'm 63 and have dumped underwired bras for comfort. My usual M&S Flexi Fit is comfortable but tends to give me 'one boob' (OK under a jumper) and not much lift or separate. Open to any ideas wired/non-wired that I could start trying.

Have a look at Triumph bras.

@KirstenBlest - thank you. Will take a look. Guess I might be in the Triumph and Playtex age group.

Look at Bravissimo and ask them for advice.

I’d recommend the Panache ‘envy’ range. I’m a 34 K and they give a nice shape. Look for the full cup rather than the balcony one. Available at John Lewis (cheaper at the moment) or on Bravissimo.

I’m loving Elomi bras just now. Best shape I’ve had in a long time (I’m 38G)

@Netaporter - thank you - that's really helpful. Have worn Panache before - the style idea is what I needed.

@MissDianaBarry no problem. When I was much younger I had a fitting at Rigby and Peller from the very experienced June. She explained that larger busted ladies should wear a band smaller than they think they are to avoid shoulder dents. She also said never judge a bra by how it looks on skin but to look at the shape it gives you when you put your clothes back on. I’ve always followed both pieces of advice and I have never looked back. She got me sold onto Prima Donna Deauville but they are now around £115 each - the Panache ones are much more affordable!

@MissDianaBarry , they vary. They have some that are a bit aimed at someone older with a large bosom but they also have pretty ones.

By all means look at other bra brands. I just posted the first that sprung to mind, and I was thinking Amourette not Doreen.

I also recommend going to a proper bra shop run by a 'June'
