Necklace clasp always falling down

But if a random question but has anyone discovered a way of making sure the clasp to a necklace doesn’t fall round to the front of your neck / chest?

I’ve got a small pendant necklace which is forever doing this and it drives me nuts….

It is just gravity- the clasp is the heaviest part of the chain, so works itself to the lowest place. You can try asking a jeweller to use a smaller/lighter clasp.
If the chain has an open link, you can ask a jeweller to fix the pendant in place through one of the links, the weight will help keep the pendant at the front and the clasp at the back.

You can add a small piece of chain, bead to the end of the necklace (by the clasp), which will hang down at the neck and will help with the necklace drift! Alternatively, I replace many of my clasps with something more decorative, like a silver flower toggle for example and if you see this then it adds to the look of the necklace.
