IG shapewear adverts

I keep seeing adverts on insta for shapewear, and am tempted to try some, but do they really work? They seem to have lots of really good reviews but I am naturally suspicious of anything that promises to take 2in off my waist.

You can buy reviews for pennies by the hundreds or thousands.

They use trickery.

Proper shape wear will smooth out any loose skin or fat but it has to go somewhere and nobody wants to be wearing a sausage skin in summer.
