My Aphrodite dress just arrived and with it a gorgeous complimentary tote bag, I’m delighted!

here’s the dress but I won’t spoil the tote bag surprise…https://www.sezane.com/en/product/aphrodite-dress/black#size-XS

Ooh, love that op. Enjoy.

ISpyNoPlumPie · 26/05/2024 07:34

Hmm…as nice as it looks, the bra situation with that dress is no good. How are you coping without a bra? Is it just because I’m not 24 anymore?

Setyoufree · 26/05/2024 07:38

Love that dress! Shame about the impossibility of a bra though 😭

GetyourheadoutoftheovenIris · 26/05/2024 07:56

It’s stunning. Did you go for black?

I could do bra less because I don’t have much there. I would be worried about my little tummy poking out (realises that I’ve painted a funny picture of myself).

JMAngel1 · 26/05/2024 08:03

That dress looks so hard to wear - body clinging knitwear? Would be so unflattering on me.

fourelementary · 26/05/2024 08:06

Sorry at £170 there isn’t anything free about a tote bag coming with it… and as pp say, that dress looks like it would only suit a very specific body type… and certainly not me!!!

TheChosenTwo · 26/05/2024 08:07

That dress would not support my droopy boobs and if would look awful with a bra! And clingy knitwear makes me feel sweaty.
It IS a pretty dress but it’s not for me.
Enjoy, I didn’t meant to sound so down on it, it’s just not designed for my sorry boob situation!

RunnyPaint · 26/05/2024 08:20

What's wrong with the front of it? The model has been told to cover up something with her arm and/or bag in the front views of the dress, so presumably there is an unflattering seam, or is it just too clingy even for a model?

WhingeInTheWillows · 26/05/2024 10:06

@RunnyPaint That was my first thought too. She looks so awkward.

loropianalover · 26/05/2024 12:41

Why is all the focus of the responses on the dress? Is the free tote bag only with this specific dress or with orders in general?

I think because you have to pay for it?

First orders of anything will get you a free tote

Chaoseverywhere · 26/05/2024 16:14

The model is so gorgeous but she does not look happy with the dress at all. Perhaps she doesn’t like the sandals though

DGPP · 26/05/2024 19:50

Completely unwearable dress and I love Sezane usually. I do have the tote bag and don’t love that either. Sorry OP

MuchuseasaChocolateTeapot · 26/05/2024 22:22

Hmmmm. Beautiful dress but I’m a D cup. If that tape fails I’ll take someone’s eye out.

I don't usually agree with pointing out SPAG mistakes, but ... 😆😆😆

EalingLucy · 26/05/2024 22:44

Not sure my 32E boobs would look good in this. I would feel incredibly exposed! But glad you’ve found something that looks great on you :)

Hidinginbed · 26/05/2024 23:08

I LOVE that dress, it’s gorgeous- I really like the sleeves & wide neck. But yes OP what do you do about the boob situation? Mine are v small but I need a bra for shape - do you use those stick on ones?
I really love It though - shame I never go anywhere nice enough to wear something like that.

Codlingmoths · 26/05/2024 23:25

I love it, and have no boobs so that would be fine. But post babies im approx 400,000 sit-ups away from my tum looking good in that dress.

suki1964 · 26/05/2024 23:32

well thats an advert for sure

Tolkienista · 27/05/2024 07:08

You're lucky that you can wear such a revealing dress, many (myself included) couldn't.
I hope you enjoy your time wearing it.

I'm thinking it's see through and it was showing her knickers so they needed the bag to cover it.

The back is far too revealing for me but I'm glad you like it op

spriots · 27/05/2024 07:14

I really want this blouse but £95 for 100% polyester!
