Curly hair help

I have v curly/ frizzy hair. I'm so fed up of it. I've Spent so long trying various curl methods hairdressers etc / and it always looks awful.
I wondered would anyone recommend any straightening procedure.
It used to be thick so I could put it up and it looked acceptable but now it's thinning so I just look bald if I put it up
If I have it blow dried straight the slightest damp just ensures it frizzes up again it's dreadful.

Someone I knew used to have her hair relaxed, which I think is like a perm but to straighten rather than curl.

Have you tried a Brazilian blow?

No but maybe that's the next option I'll have a look

I had a couple of Brazilian blow dries many years ago. They were good, but I still had to blow dry and straighten my hair. I think my hair is exceptionally frizzy and difficult though.
