Denim shirt hunt

This shouldn’t be hard, I know - denim shirts are everywhere, but I’m finding it impossible to find the perfect one so wondered if the S&B board could help please.

I really like this one from With Nothing Underneath but it’s so expensive, was hoping someone could help me find a dupe.
Things I like about it:

• fairly plain style
• only one pocket
• nice buttons/poppers (not flimsy plastic ones)
• soft thin-ish denim (not too thick or stiff)
• medium standard blue denim colour (no weird fades)
• long enough to cover my bum, could be worn on its own or open over a cami.

I bought a similar one from Mango recently but the sleeves were slightly too short and it had oddly high curved cut-outs at the side. Am aware I’m starting to sound obsessive now 😳anyone seen anything that might fit the bill?

this looks nice not sure if it quite fits your brief though.

That is nice - think it might be a bit too thick/more of an overshirt from reading the reviews, but appreciate the suggestion, thank you!

I have just been to Next to look at there’s and was quite impressed. Theirs is £28 and comes in several shades and colours, I think I’m going to buy the bleached denim one. It felt nice and soft, it’s now in my basket in the app.

Yes I just saw the Hush one at John Lewis as well. It seems like it fits the bill!

I second the next one. Lovely and soft, (yet doesn’t look too thin/chambray instead of denim if you get what i mean). Good price and quality.

I have a couple, one of which is a men's denim shirt and it might be worth checking out the men's ranges, as I often find they are a better weight fabric, with better detailing.
