My right foot gets very dry and not very nice looking. I’m trying to hold back on buying even more beauty products so thinking I should make a foot scrub.

Any recommendations gratefully received.

salt and olive oil - or any oil tbf.

I use Palmers cocoa butter oil mixed with coffee grounds, I use an empty body scrub container and just use it all over my body. I use a peppermint hard skin lotion on my feet afterwords, I get really REALLY bad hard skin and it has worked for the last couple of years, keeps them soft and not gross looking

Salt and olive oil here too. Then a coat of Vaseline and some socks on overnight and my feet are soft like angels bums afterwards.

footbath with soda crystals/warm water.
followed by foot file (gently!) and thick layer of moisturiser under socks.

Thank you all
I use cream and socks most nights (5/7 minimum) yet the skin on my right foot (heel area and big toe particularly) is still not nice.

I shall try the salt and oil followed by good old Vaseline instead but not olive oil as that is £££ these days 😏

It sounds like you’re a bit beyond scrubs, if you’re already using cream at night. I know it’s buying another thing, but what about a proper ‘cheese grater’ file. I have this one as it’s fab.

Coffee grounds and/ or sea salt in melted coconut oil or melted shea butter. Add a drop or two of peppermint essential oil or tea tree oil.

DisneyHag · 14/07/2024 14:26

Sugar and olive oil.Grin With a few drops of whichever essential oil appeals to you.

Works brilliantly.
